Santosh Giri

Veterinary Assistant

Santosh chose the veterinary field out of a passionate love for animals and a desire to be surrounded by pets. Having worked and volunteered in many animal welfare organizations, Santosh is committed to providing compassionate care to furry friends. He holds a bachelor’s degree in Veterinary Science and Animal Husbandry (BVSC and AH) from Himalayan College of Agricultural Sciences and Technology, Purbanchal University, Nepal, earned in 2018. Recently, he completed a post-graduate degree in Project Management from Georgian@ILAC College, Toronto Campus.

Santosh’s interests include small animal medicine, preventive medicine, and pathology. As a Veterinary Assistant, he finds deep fulfillment in helping animals and their owners, knowing he makes a meaningful difference in their lives.

At home, Santosh has two pet dogs: Kali, a Pomeranian and Japanese Spitz cross, and Bhote, a Mountain Sheepdog. They are his best friends and the loves of his life. A fun fact about Santosh is that he enjoys trekking and hiking in nature and has trekked to the base camp of Mount Everest, 4500 meters above sea level.
