Annex Animal Hospital is well underway with our new Fear Free certification. We have been busy learning new techniques and trying out ideas to make your pets visit as stress-free as possible.
Fear Free is an initiative that was founded by Dr. Marty Becker, and it is transforming companion animal practices all across North America. We are very proud and excited to be part of it.
Fear Free takes into account not only your pets physical well-being but their emotional well-being as well. During their visit, we do our best to ensure that their fear, anxiety and stress levels are as low as possible. It is done by using a number of different techniques, including minimally invasive handling, lots of positive reinforcement, time and consideration for your pet.
